Reentry Institute (CRI) is a Pre and Post Release Program for inmates serving in the California Department of Corrections
and Rehabilitation. CRI was founded when Ms. Collette Carroll and Mr. Sam Vaughn realized that the work
that they had been doing to assist inmates at San Quentin State prison changed lives greatly, but there was a need to take
this further and give these men the skills to have a successful reentry into society and strong support upon, through
their transition and beyond.
